The Winchcombe Tallboy combines bow-fronted curved woodwork with five deep drawers and a lift-up lid that reveals dedicated jewellery compartments for organised storage. Its soft-close drawers and generous interior capacity are shaped by the elegantly curved front, inspired by Georgian antique chest designs. Antiqued metal handles and delicate cornicing detail complement the traditional joinery, while the hand-applied stains and glazes bring out the deep natural grain of the oak before a protective lacquer seal is applied. As a naturally finished timber piece, the grain pattern varies across each individual unit.
Winchcombe is made exclusively for The Cotswold Company, using our signature joinery and finish - you won't find it, or our quality, anywhere else. A thoughtful design that saves on space, our vanity tallboy not only includes five roomy drawers, but a lift up lid reveals practical jewellery compartments for keeping those finer items safely organised. Inspired by a Georgian bow-fronted chest spotted at an antiques market, the Winchcombe range features a deep, natural grain, soft-close drawers and generous storage - thanks to its elegantly curved shape - that make every piece a pleasure to live with. It combines antiqued metal handles and delicate cornicing with traditional woodwork for a timeless feel. Shaped entirely by nature, no two pieces are ever the same. To preserve the oak's natural beauty, the timber is hand-finished with a combination of stains and glazes to achieve its Smoked Oak tone. It is then sealed with a lacquer to protect the oak's subtle, natural grain traces.
