The Winchcombe 7 drawer chest offers a tall 4-over-3 drawer configuration with a softly curved bow front, constructed from oak hand-finished in a Dark Oak tone through a combination of stains and glazes. All seven drawers feature soft-close mechanisms, providing substantial storage capacity alongside antiqued metal handles and delicate cornicing that complement the traditional woodwork. A lacquer seal protects the oak's natural grain traces, and as each piece is shaped by the wood's inherent character, no two chests are identical.
Winchcombe is made exclusively for The Cotswold Company, using our signature joinery and finish - you won't find it, or our quality, anywhere else. Tall and striking, our 4 over 3 tall chest is both elegant and timeless. Offering ample storage space with seven roomy drawers, the soft bow-curved front adds a welcoming nod to traditional design. Inspired by a Georgian bow-fronted chest spotted at an antiques market, the Winchcombe range features a deep, natural grain, soft-close drawers and generous storage - thanks to its elegantly curved shape - that make every piece a pleasure to live with. It combines antiqued metal handles and delicate cornicing with traditional woodwork for a timeless feel. Shaped entirely by nature, no two pieces are ever the same. To preserve the oak's natural beauty, the timber is hand-finished with a combination of stains and glazes to achieve its Dark Oak tone. It is then sealed with lacquer to protect the oak's subtle, natural grain traces. Please Note: Due to the size and weight of this item, we use a specialized delivery service.
