Each 1.32mm wire spring, 50mm in diameter, is sewn into individual calico pockets and hand-formed into a honeycomb-nested unit, providing responsive and even support. The mattress is built up with 900gsm blended Shetland Isle fleece wool and cotton, 450gsm hand-teased long-stranded horsetail in a hair-proof cambric cover, and 200gsm cashmere, all hand tufted with woollen tufts and twine for a secure, layered construction. The divan base is fitted with skirts on three sides as standard, and the set is handmade in the UK.
