The Bedstead mattress features hand-nested calico pocket spring construction, delivering responsive support with a soft tension suited to lighter sleepers. Its upholstery combines a wool spring protector pad with bonded and blended British fleece wool and cotton, while finest quality ticking encloses the natural fillings. Hand tufting with felt washers secures the layers for long-term resilience, and 2 rows of hand side-stitching reinforce the borders for a firm, supportive edge. Air vents promote airflow throughout, with an overall mattress depth of 21cm plus 6cm doming (+/-2cm).
