Guitar Rug - Pink, Wool and Silk

The Guitar rug combines geometric shapes and straight lines to evoke the form of the instrument, set against a backdrop of pink, blue, white, and yellow tones. Woven from a blend of wool and silk, the construction delivers a plush texture with a refined finish. The design was created by Elena Salmistraro in collaboration with Illulian, merging artistic expression with textile craft.

Winner of the “Best Emerging Designer” award at the 2017 Salone del Mobile, Elena Salmistraro has continued her search for the meeting point between art and design in 'Guitar', created in collaboration with Illulian. Here, geometric shapes and straight lines converge to recall the instrument, while a lively backdrop in shades of pink, blue, white and yellow bring this manifestation to life on a plush rug woven from a mix of wool and silk.
