The Paloum dessert plates combine glazed stoneware construction with a reactive enamel process that creates an irregular speckled surface on every piece. Metal oxides are applied after an initial firing and then sealed beneath a contrasting enamel glaze, producing the distinctive flecked finish. As the result depends on firing temperature, baking time, and enamel application, no two plates are identical. The set of six is dishwasher and microwave compatible, with each plate measuring 19cm in diameter.
