The Atlántico placemats feature a classic diamond weave and coiled border, hand-woven in Colombia from sun-dried iraca leaf by Andean artisans. The yellow colouring is not a dye but the natural result of leaving the cut iraca leaf to sun-dry in the high Andean valleys, a process that cannot be shortened. Each placemat carries the texture and warmth of a material shaped entirely by hand before it reaches the table. Sold as a set of 4.
