The Atlántico napkin ring set features hand-coiled iraca leaf, woven using a diamond weave technique drawn strand by strand by artisan weavers in the high valleys of Nariño, Colombia. The yellow colouring is not a dye but the result of leaving the iraca leaf to sun-dry in the Andean climate, a process integral to the material itself. Each ring is hand-formed and hand-finished, with tension maintained entirely by touch across the weaving process. The set contains 4 individually crafted rings.
