The Nube placemat features hand-woven Iraca palm fiber crafted by artisans from Usiacurí on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. A wireframe base is shaped first, then intricately woven over using a traditional technique passed down through generations, resulting in a structured yet lightweight mat. The dried Iraca palm fiber (80%) carries the olive-toned natural dye, while the wireframe core (20%) maintains its round form over time.
