The Nube placemat features hand-woven Iraca palm fiber crafted by artisans from Usiacurí on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. A wireframe base is shaped first, then intricately woven over using a traditional technique passed down through generations, resulting in a structured yet lightweight mat. The dried Iraca palm fiber (80%) gives the surface its fine texture and natural tone, while the wireframe core (20%) maintains its round form over time. Spot cleaning with a damp cloth is recommended, and storage away from direct sunlight preserves the natural dyes. Diameter: 39 cm.
