The Jean Prouvé Direction Pivoting Desk Chair, designed in 1951, features a height-adjustable swivel seat with a rear tilt mechanism that can be calibrated to individual weight and locked in the upright position. Its voluminous polyurethane-padded seat and backrest are covered in a Volo fabric blend of 85% new wool and 15% polyamide, while oiled solid oak armrests add a tactile contrast to the powder-coated folded sheet steel and tubular steel frame. The five-star Japanese Red base provides stable rotation, and the overall construction balances structured support with cushioned comfort. W67 x D46 x H83.5–95 cm.
