The Calne desk features a live edge silhouette crafted from solid British pippy oak, with natural knots and cracks that give each piece a distinct, one-of-a-kind character. Its unfinished edge preserves the raw grain and organic irregularities of the wood, while the solid oak construction provides substantial durability. The aged oak finish brings out the depth and tonal variation inherent to pippy oak, making each desk unique in its patterning.
An heirloom piece made from aged oak with a unique live edge and natural knots. Inspired by the rustic interiors of Soho Farmhouse, our Calne desk is made in the UK from British pippy oak. The solid silhouette is characterised by an unfinished edge, with natural knots and cracks that give every piece a one-of-a-kind finish.
