Designed by Poul Kjaerholm and produced in close collaboration with Hanne Kjaerholm, the PK8 chair was introduced to the public in the 2007 exhibition “The furniture architectâ€Â, at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, north Copenhagen. Part of the PK series, this chair reflects the defined shape and pristine surfaces evident in other pieces by Kjaerholm. Its composition of sinuous curves flows from the seat all the way to the three legged base, creating a soft and lightweight look.
