The Elephant Lounge Chair offers contemporary seating with its signature ear-shaped backrest that curves naturally around the seated form. Its design merges 1950s upholstery traditions with Japanese minimalist principles, creating a light yet substantial presence. The wooden frame receives water-based lacquer treatment for enhanced longevity, while the curved back provides unmatched comfort and ergonomic support.
Taken from Danish brand NORR11's expansive 'Elephant' collection, the 'Elephant Lounge Chair' is a modern seating option designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl. Inspired by both the upholstered chairs of the 1950s and Japanese furniture design, this seat presents a light and elegant expression thanks to an elephant ear-shaped back that gently curves around the body to provide an unrivalled level of comfort. NORR11 follows a sustainable path choosing water-based lacquer for all its range of wooden furniture pieces.
