Our Scandi Oak bench is made for us from European Oak to a simple, Scandinavian design. This bench, like it''s predecessor - our Scandi Oak table - let the wood do the talking. Full of character with the unique profile of the oak trunk which contrasts with the simple, clean lines of the steel frame legs. We absolutely love this bench and we are sure you will too. Available in a large number of standard sizes; bespoke sizes on application. Wood, like any other natural porous material, continues to absorb and release humidy throughout its life. Variations in wood grain, texture, colour, knots and other naturally occuring characteristics are inherent in solid wood. The oak is pre-treated with three coats of a water-based protection giving a durable finish that does not change the nature of the beautiful oak i.e. there is no shine and you cannot see the difference between the treated table top and untreated oak.
