The Pedrera Coffee Table by Gubi is a testament to the timeless beauty of modernist design. Originally designed by Barba Corsini in 1955 for the La Pedrera building, the table features a distinctive undulating steel base and a sleek, curved glass tabletop. Corsini''s design philosophy of incorporating the irregular geometries of nature is evident in the table''s sculptural form, which exudes a sense of lightness and sophistication. In 2010, Gubi relaunched the Pedrera Coffee Table, and have recently started offering a new chrome option that elevates the already eye-catching design into an even more significant statement piece. As 1980s style continues to dominate interior design trends, chrome has made a comeback as a material of choice. The chrome option for the Pedrera Coffee Table is a reflection of this trend, adding a touch of luxury and shine to any interior space. The addition of chrome to Corsini''s design only enhances the material identity of the table and highlights its heritage from the 1950s. The Pedrera Coffee Table makes for an excellent centerpiece in contemporary and classic interior settings alike. The Pedrera Coffee Table is a beautiful example of modernist design that is functional, elegant and timeless. Corsini''s design language is deeply rooted in the architectural aesthetics of La Pedrera building, resulting in a unique and organic piece of furniture. The table''s sculptural form creates an elegant presence in any living space, and the addition of the chrome option elevates its luxurious appeal.
