Designed through the collaboration of Bjarke Ingels and Danish design group KiBiSi the Via57 lounge chair is strikingly elegant. The base consists of four legs, made from solid oak, and smoothly crafted into a simple dowel shape. The chair itself is composed of a steel frame embedded into moulded soft polyurethane foam, these two different supportive densities create a comfortable soft seat with a firm reassurance. Such design brings out the best of combining ergonomic American comfort with Scandinavian simplicity. And finally the Christianshavn upholstering choices, for you to choose from, which offer soft comfort and endless ways in which this chair can be styled.
