Lounge Chair with Headrest - Wicker

The lounge chair combines steel construction with wicker weaving, creating a harmonious contrast between materials. Its independent elements stay together through gravity and friction, while the soft curves and organic shape draw inspiration from classic design. The comfortable leather headrest is counter-weighted with stainless steel for optimal positioning, and the unique structural approach ensures both stability and visual appeal.

Designed by Poul Kjaerholm, the PK24 lounge chair is designed with independent elements which are kept together through gravity and friction between the elements. Such a unique design also features soft curves and an organic shape making this chair a stand out piece. Inspired by the Rococo period and the French chaise longue it features the same unique curves and size in design. Combining steel with wicker or leather creates a flawless, harmonising display between two contrasting materials. - an attribute recognisable in some of Kjaerholm’s other pieces. Included is a comfortable headrest in leather which is counter-weighted with stainless steel. The PK24 lounge chair lends itself perfectly to a minimalist or rustic aesthetic. We recommend adding it to your living space for a delicate infusion of a harmonising design. Available in wicker, or leather. Other pieces from the PK series available.
