Original Product Description:
Designed by Matthew Hilton in 1991, the Balzac was the first upholstery piece produced by SCP and has since gone onto become a modern classic. Handmade entirely in their Norfolk factory, the solid beech frame and American oak feet give the Balzac a deep seated recline. The contemporary curves are then furnished with foam, natural fibres and wool for a soft and supportive sit. Jute webbing, zigzag springs and multi-density foam ensure luxurious comfort, with each armchair topped with a feather filled seat cushion. This exclusive edition of the Balzac is skilfully upholstered in bute melrose marble fabric and is also available in a choice of aniline leathers.
