Elkstone Large Bookcase with Storage - Mellow Oak

The Elkstone large bookcase combines freestanding versatility with solid oak construction, featuring a bottom cupboard framework fitted with wooden drawer runners for smooth closure. Traditional mortise and tenon joints, alongside dovetail joins, reinforce its structural integrity for long-term durability. Each piece carries its own natural variation in grain and tone, with the timber finished through a six-part staining process and sealed with a clear protective lacquer to enhance and preserve the oak's character.

A brilliant freestanding alternative to a built-in bookcase, the bottom cupboard framework of our Elkstone large bookcase is crafted from solid oak and includes wooden drawer runners for smooth closure. To further ensure its longevity, we use traditional mortise and tenon joints and strong dovetail joins. Shaped entirely by nature, no two pieces are ever the same. To preserve the oak's natural beauty, the timber is treated with a careful six-part staining process, then sealed with a clear protective lacquer, enhancing the oak's natural character.
