GFRC is a porous material similar to natural stone, and our products are treated with a nano sealer to resist stains. Cleaning Clean your GFRC product with mild soap (like dish soap) and water. Avoid harsh cleansers, bleach, ammonia, or acidic natural cleaners as they may compromise the protective sealer. Stain Prevention Regular use should not stain your GFRC product due to the nano sealer barrier. However, promptly wipe up spills to prevent potential penetration and discoloration. Oils and acidic substances can stain if left unattended. Maintenance If the surface becomes scratched or damaged, reapply a water-based sealer or wax to maintain protection and preserve its appearance over time. Weather protection GFRC products have been tested to withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F). We recommend using a protective cover during severe weather. If temperatures are expected to drop below -10°C (14°F), move the product indoors or store it in a sheltered location. Outdoor Planters For outdoor planters, always ensure the drainage hole remains clear to allow excess water to drain freely. We recommend slightly elevating the planter from the ground to prevent it from standing in water. Water absorbed by the material may expand when frozen and cause cracking. Before periods of severe frost, empty the planter and move it indoors or to a sheltered location whenever possible. Enhanced Protection Optional wax coatings can further enhance stain resistance. Test any wax on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn't alter the appearance.
