Left hand facing means the corner section is on your left as you stand in front of the sofa and look at it, and right hand facing puts it on your right. The long side is 300 cm and the corner return 150 cm, with a depth of 105 cm. Tape the L-shape on the floor, leave 80–90 cm for walkways and measure doorways and stair turns.
