A fusion of East and West, Jaime Hayon's Formakami Pendant Light for &Tradition reinvents ancient Asian lanterns. Hayon was inspired by paper lanterns that have been present in Asia for centuries. Traditionally, different colours, shapes and sizes would denote different meaning. For the Formakami, Hayon stripped the design back to its purest elements. The light is available in two different sizes, each handcrafted from ivory white rice paper with black-stained oak accents.
