The GP & J Baker Zaraband 30cm empire shade offers a gathered linen construction in red, with a pattern inspired by the ikat traditions of early 19th-century Central Asian Abra textiles. The empire shape tapers gently from a wider base, with the gathered fabric creating soft folds that add surface texture. Delicate tonal transitions within the red ground reflect the layered colouring characteristic of historic silk Abra weaves.
