Gingembre Small Table Lamp - Blue, Ceramic

The Gingembre small table lamp draws on the form of the traditional oriental ginger jar, historically used to transport spices and ginger, translated into a ceramic table lamp with a rounded silhouette. Its surface features geometric patterns painted in blue and white, offering a departure from conventional blue-and-white Chinese pastoral motifs. The ceramic construction provides a solid, weighty base, while the painted detailing adds visual texture through repeating angular shapes.

Modelled on the classic oriental ginger jar, that was traditionally used to transport spices, as well as ginger. We love this because of the modern geometric patterns painted on the side, as opposed to the more traditional blue scenes of Chinese pastoral life. Lovely mix of old and new...we're pleased.
