The 45cm straight empire shade features hand-marbled paper crafted through a centuries-old technique where paints and oils are dropped onto thickened water, then raked and stretched to form each unique pattern. The paper is carefully laid onto the surface, imprinted, and dried, ensuring no two shades are ever identical. Its bold red tanaro colouring brings vivid, one-of-a-kind character to the finished piece. Due to the surface area involved in the marbling process, this shade is constructed with two seams.
