The 45cm straight empire lamp shade features a hand-painted card construction, with each piece carrying subtle variations in the paintwork that give it a naturally mottled finish. The verdant arrows pattern is applied by hand, meaning minor imperfections in the brushwork contribute to its individual character rather than detract from it. Its straight-sided empire form and larger diameter suit substantial lamp bases, while the card material provides a warm, diffused light quality.
