The 45cm straight empire lamp shade features handmade marbled paper, a centuries-old craft where paints and oils are dropped onto thickened water, then raked and stretched to create unique patterns. Each sheet is individually laid onto the liquid surface and lifted to capture the design, meaning no two shades are ever identical. The bold foglia pattern combines yellow and green tones, with the paper construction giving the shade a distinctive artisanal character. Due to the surface area involved in the marbling process, this shade is finished with two seams.
