The empire lamp shade features hand-painted card construction with a ripple finish that produces a softly mottled appearance across its surface. At 30cm, it offers a mid-scale proportion suited to a range of lamp bases, while the painted card material keeps the overall weight low. Each shade carries slight variations in the paint application, making every piece individually distinct.
