The 20cm empire lamp shade features hand-painted card construction, giving each piece a unique finish with a naturally mottled appearance. Its scalloped edge adds a decorative detail, while the hand-applied paint creates subtle variations that distinguish it from mass-produced alternatives. The straight empire silhouette provides a clean, unfussy profile suited to a wide range of lamp bases and settings.
We love our hand painted shades. Each one is unique, and somehow the little imperfections in the paint work, and the slightly mottled look, add to the...well... perfection. Achingly simple, and in no way showy or brash, these gorgeous shades will feel at home in almost any environment.
