The wall light features a mouth-blown glass ball positioned alongside a metal plate, creating distinctive geometric shadows. Its side-lit design casts an elliptical shadow from the metal component, while the glass sphere adds visual depth. The theatrical lighting effect combines modern materials with classic appeal, and the metal construction ensures lasting durability.
Sophisticated and elegant, the Umbra wall light explores the relationship between geometric objects and their shadows. A unique piece in which one component informs the other, the metal plate is designed to be the perfectly elliptical shadow cast by the side-lit ball, while the mouth-blown glass ball sits to the side of the metal plate waiting to cast its shadow. The Umbra wall and ceiling light provides a theatrical, old Hollywood feel to whatever space it enters.
