The pendant light produces downward directed illumination with a welcoming glow through its refined shade design. Its sophisticated construction features chrome detailing that complements the matt white finish, while the directional lighting makes it suitable for task areas. The streamlined form combines functionality with timeless appeal, and the focused beam provides effective illumination for work surfaces.
Originally conceived in 1930, the Bestlite BL9 pendant light small & medium is part of English designer Robert Dudley Bests acclaimed Bestlite collection. Loved by designers, architects and design aficionados alike, the light is held in permanent collections at both the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Design Museum in London and is considered as the first example of the Bauhaus movement in British design. Refined and sophisticated, the pendant produces a downward directed light and pleasant, welcoming glow, ideal for illuminating dining tables, kitchen islands and desks. The Bestlite BL9 pendant light is an iconic and incredibly versatile choice that will beautifully complement modern and contemporary homes.
