Wall Light Switched - Black, Steel

The wall light features adjustable positioning with its curved lampshade connected to a wall bracket through a filigree neck. Its steel and aluminium construction combines strength with industrial styling, while the pivoting mechanism enables both indirect upward lighting and focused downward illumination. The switched hardwired design provides convenient control without additional cables.

Designed in 1951 by British designer and sculptor, Bernard Schottlander, the Mantis BS5 wall light is as contemporary today as it was at its inception. Distinguished by its restrained industrial style, its elegant steel and aluminium construction features a curved lampshade attached to a wall bracket by a filigree neck. Turn it upwards for ambient indirect light, or angle it downwards for direct lighting. Ideal for use as a night light on either side of a bed, the Mantis BS5 wall light can also be used to illuminate long corridors and kitchen counters. Available in black satin. This wall light is supplied hardwired WITHOUT a cable or switch.
