Original Product Description:

Fish traps are called hinaki by Maori, though often the name is used specifically for an eel trap. They were made from woven vines, some in amazingly beautiful forms. The Hinaki and modeled on and named after these fish traps. The flatpack shipping significantly reduces freighting, helping to preserve the environments that inspire the product.
