The GUBI Unbound Floor Lamp is a playful, poetic, and pared-back reimagination of the traditional lantern. Designed by Space Copenhagen, this calming and characterful lamp features a teardrop-shaped marble base that acts as an anchor. The white linen or natural canvas shade can be effortlessly rotated around the base, creating the impression of a gently billowing sail. The lamp’s dark antique brass ‘mast’ supports an array of dimmable LED lights within the shade, creating a soft, diffuse, and evenly distributed light. The largest of the Unbound Floor Lamps, it can be used to create a bold, standalone statement, or paired with the medium and small versions to create a sculptural cluster.
