The pendant light offers focused illumination with its solid shade that concentrates light downwards, while the open top allows gentle ambient light to spill upwards. Its elongated shape tucks the bulb within the shade to eliminate glare, and the delicate lines create a refined silhouette. The gloss metal construction provides durability, while the design works effectively when hung individually or in multiples.
The Caravaggio is now considered a Scandinavian design classic and is one of our best sellers. Its delicate lines create a beautiful silhouette that works perfectly in most rooms of the home. When hung in pairs, or as a row of three, over a kitchen island they add style without dominating the space too much - and with 5 sizes to choose from it is always possible to get the scale just right. The solid shade concentrates the light downwards for strong illumination whilst the open top allows light to gently spill upwards providing ambient light on the ceiling. Its elongated shape means that the bulb is tucked up within the shade so glare is never an issue. Danish designer Cecilie Manz says "new products should either be innovative and rejuvenating or offer improvement in order to earn recognition". Thus, she has done her utmost to develop designs that do not steal attention from the light, but ensure that function always prevails.
