The Float Light features a handblown Czech glass sphere with a brass socket assembly integrated through one side. Each glass sphere is broken hot from the blower's pipe and torch-polished at the mouth, creating a unique detail that makes no two pieces exactly alike. The removable socket attaches with two thumb screws from the side of the glass sphere, providing easy bulb access while maintaining the clean spherical form.
