The table lamp combines classic design elements with modern functionality through its adjustable components. Its brass base provides solid support while the bendable arm and pivoting shade offer versatile light control. The height adjusts by sliding the arm along the stem, and the rotating shade directs soft illumination where needed. The clean lines and graceful arc suit both contemporary and traditional settings.
Created by Robert Dudley Best in 1930, the BL1 Table Lamp is a timeless design piece with strong references to Bauhaus. Pairing clean lines with a graceful arc, the lamp brings a touch of class to any interior setting. The arm can bend and pivot, and the height can be adjusted by sliding the arm along the stem. The shade can also be rotated to emit a soft glow in any direction. Finished with a brass base, this lamp fits seamlessly into any mid-century décor.
