The Domo Table Lamp offers distinctive curvaceous design with its soft, rounded forms that avoid sharp corners and straight lines. All components feature a clear lacquer finish, while the sculptural silhouette provides ambient lighting with timeless appeal. The UK plug configuration suits British electrical standards, and the sturdy base ensures stable placement on surfaces.
Designed by Joe Colombo in 1965 and now manufactured by Karakter, the 'Domo Table Lamp' is one of three pieces based on a simple core shape created by the Italian designer. Working to a philosophy of democratic and functional design, Colombo's creations are 'machines for living', with many — including 'Domo' — achieving iconic status. All parts of the black lamp have a clear lacquer and, true to Colombo's aversion to sharp corners and straight lines, are shaped into soft curvaceous forms.
