The pendant light provides warm diffused illumination with its distinctive cigar-shaped bubble design. Its steel ceiling plate ensures secure mounting, while the series of vertical lines along the body adds visual interest. The white finish creates soft ambient lighting, and the smooth construction delivers reliable overhead performance.
Simple and chic, Hay's 'Nelson Cigar Bubble' pendant light is an elegant addition to any room. The vision of designer George Nelson (1908-1986), the light is taken from the American's wider 'Bubble Lamp' collection, which was created in 1952 and inspired by a set of hanging silk covered Swedish lamps encountered by the designer. Affixed to the ceiling with a steel plate and featuring a series of vertical lines along its body, this medium-sized version of the white pendant light is smooth juxtaposition of soft and hard, and offers a warm diffused light from overhead.
