Table Lamp with Metal Plate - Clear, Glass

The table lamp features a mouth-blown glass ball positioned alongside a metal plate, creating distinctive geometric shadows. Its unique design explores the relationship between light and shadow, with the metal plate forming an elliptical shadow cast by the side-lit glass sphere. The mouth-blown glass construction adds artisanal quality, while the metal plate provides structural contrast and visual interest.

Sophisticated and elegant, the Umbra table light explores the relationship between geometric objects and their shadows. A unique piece in which one component informs the other, the metal plate is designed to be the perfectly elliptical shadow cast by the side-lit ball, while the mouth-blown glass ball sits to the side of the metal plate waiting to cast its shadow.
