Surface Light with Glass Bubble - Blue, Copper

The surface light features a unique blue glass bubble with naturally formed air pockets that create individual variations in size and shape. Its copper base complements the blue glass detailing, while the complex glass blowing technique produces a warped spherical form with inner layers. The opaque milk glass housing contains a 20W xenon lamp, and the handcrafted construction ensures each piece maintains its own authentic character.

Designed by Omer Arbel, the Series 28 copper surface light by Bocci includes a blue glass bubble detailing each light is unique as the air bubbles naturally form creating slightly different sizes and shapes each time. And this design aspect only adds to each light''s individual authenticity. The blue glass and copper base make for a complementary duo that makes this light even more captivating. Crafted using a complex glass blowing technique where air is gently introduced and then removed from a glass matrix (which is heated and then rapidly cooled). With an end result of a warped spherical shape with a collection of inner layers, one of which is made of opaque milk glass and houses a low voltage lamp.
