The Series 84 multi pendant light features white glass captured inside a fine copper mesh basket, then plunged into hot clear glass. Air is blown into this stratified construction to gently push the white glass through the mesh, creating a uniquely textured outer layer. Each light offers individual character as the copper mesh basket naturally folds and crinkles during fabrication. The 10W xenon light source casts a warm toned hue, while the robust flex cables allow focus to remain on the cascading glass lights.
The Series 84 pendant light 11 - 36 pieces by Bocci is unique and textured light created in a process where white glass is captured inside a fine copper mesh basket, plunged into hot clear glass, and then air is blown into this layered construction to gently push the white glass through the mesh creating a patterned outer layer. Due to the natural consequence of the fabrication process each light is unique as sometimes the copper mesh basket folds and crinkles. Finally a low-voltage xenon or LED light source is introduced, casting a warm toned hue. Its robust and simple flex cables allow for focus to remain on the glass lights as they cascade after each other.
