The Series 87 pendant light 3 - 7 pieces by Bocci has a pearlescent optical quality which is made using a process where soda water is used to trap air into the super heated glass mix. And then this heated glass mix is vertically stretched and folded back onto itself numerous times between pegs, as the glass cools this folding motion along the grain of the loop turns the entrapped air into microfilaments. When the light is on its illumination travels down and into these microfilaments creating a unique sunset glow that is eye catching no matter the interior.
