Designed in 2004 by legendary British designer Sir Kenneth Grange, the Type 75 Desk Lamp is a modern take on the Apex 90 first launched by Anglepoise in the 1950's. This special collaboration is informed by the brands colourful mid-century lighting with the Yellow Ochre based on a vintage lamp salvaged by Margaret Howell.<p> At the core of the design sits Anglepoise's trademark constant-tension springs, enabling the shade to pivot light in any direction using a smooth gliding motion that can be repositioned with the slightest of touches.<p> While the profile of the lamps slender aluminium arms hails directly from its articulated design, the contemporary shaped shade and low, conical base only adds to the timeless look of the Type 75.
