The tapered square lampshade combines a compact 13cm form with the distinctive character of dupion silk. Woven from two separate threads — warp and weft — dupion silk produces a natural iridescence, shifting between a soft pink and a deeper rose depending on the angle of light. Naturally occurring slubs, where silk yarn twists more thickly at intervals, add subtle texture across the surface and reflect the organic origin of the fibre.
