The Touch large bowl features intricate hand carvings across its base, a craft tradition rooted in Bosnian woodworking and recognised on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity List. Each piece is shaped instinctively by skilled craftsmen, ensuring no two bowls are identical in their carved detailing. Crafted from walnut wood with an oil finish, the material provides a warm, tactile surface that deepens with the natural grain of the wood.
Begging to be felt, grazed and stroked, each piece in the 'Touch' collection of trays and bowls seriously lives up to the name of the series. Designed by Studioilse for Zanat, the pieces prominently feature the hand carvings for which the Bosnian brand is now famed for — and won it a place on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity List — each created instinctively by skilled craftsmen, ensuring no two pieces are the same. This large walnut wood bowl offers an intricately detailed base that engages with our instinctive impulse to touch.
