Weck Jar Seal 12 cm - Rubber Gasket for Weck Jars

The Weck rubber seal offers a secure closure for Weck jars, with a diameter matched to fit the jar. Made from high-quality plastic free of toxic rubber substances, the gasket sits on the lid and works with stainless steel clips, sold separately, to seal filled jars. Pasteurisation should be done at a moderate temperature, as excessive or rapid heating can dislodge the seal or let product get trapped between seal and lid. Once cooled, remove the clips and store the jar on a pantry shelf. Dimensions: 12 cm diameter.

The gasket is made of high-quality plastic (free of toxic rubber substances) and has a diameter to match the jar, is placed on the lid and closes the filled j ar using stainless steel clips (clips available for purchase separately!). The jar is then pasteurised using the chosen pasteurisation method.
