The Balfern coasters feature petrified wood sourced from Indonesia, a fossilised material over 20 million years old with naturally unique patterning. Each piece is individually cut, sanded, and polished by skilled artisans, resulting in variations in texture, tone, and grain that make every coaster distinct. The dense, mineralised composition provides a durable and heat-resistant surface for everyday use.
