Designed in collaboration with Marcantonio, the piece references the Japanese tradition of repairing broken pottery with gold lacquer, treating surface cracks as decorative features rather than flaws. The gilded lines interact with the botanical motifs, creating a layered visual effect across the body of the carafe. It pairs with other pieces from the Kintsugi teaware series for a coordinated display.
